PlayStation’s new release breaks God of War’s Steam records.
Sony recently released Helldivers 2 on Steam, along with the PlayStation 5 console. It is a third-person sci-fi shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios.
Helldivers 2 became an instant hit the very next day after it was launched on Valve’s Steam Service on February 8. This weekend, the game has reached a whopping 155,926 concurrent players, according to SteamDB, breaking God of War’s record of 73,529 peak concurrent players.
At this point of time, Helldivers 2 is the number one best selling game on Steam and the fifth game with the most concurrent players.
